Tina Tompkins Ames

Tina Tompkins Ames was born and raised in upstate NY. She was classically trained in the arts receiving her degree in the late 80’s. From there she created many businesses in the arts, while raising her two sons with her husband, and sold them successfully to move into the corporate world as an executive. This break from the art world into the corporate field did not allow time for Tina to create. A bad case of Shingles forced Tina to stay in bed for several months – allowing her to start “doodling” again. This “Gift of Shingles” as she calls it made her realize that her true calling was to make inspirational images that were simple, whimsical and enlightened those who saw them.
