Pirjo L’Esperance

I was born, raised and educated in Toronto, Canada, and a relatively new resident to Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Berks County, I resided in both Michigan and Iowa.

I am a local freelance Landscape Architect and ceramic artist. As in my unique landscape designs, my artwork is also inspired by nature, including the wonderful critters and vegetation that inhabit it. Most creatures in my creations portray an air of whimsy and humor rather than realism.

True to my first love of the natural landscape, my most recent ceramic endeavors have been in the creation of sculptural forms, ceramic tiles and water features which can be appreciated in an outdoor landscape setting.
