LAK Woodworking

Topton, PA

Now that I'm retired and have the time, I'm spending more time crafting useful and decorative items.

My initial encounter with woodworking was during my senior year of high school.  My first project was building a pool table.

I began working in my father’s machine shop after I got out of the Army, turning metal, not wood.  This experience would serve to be a useful skill in my woodworking later on.  After getting married, I began making furniture and other items needed in our home.  Later on, I took a class in woodturning and began to really enjoy making items.  Now that I’m retired and have the time, I’m spending more time crafting useful and decorative items.

I hope you enjoy them as much as the satisfaction I receive from making them.
