James Stanford and Andrea Cammarata make 100% of their original 720 Signature Series at their home studio in St. Augustine, FL. Borosilicate glass is hand blown and sculpted using a 5000-degree torch for a heat source. Raw clear tubing and rods are ordered from glass distribution sites specializing in scientific glass to which they add color through various techniques while using their imagination as inspiration.
720 Glassworks was created by James as a sole (soul) adventure. However, as his designs gained in popularity and demand, he began seeking a competent glass artist who could assist him and who could compliment him with his/her own unique style. In December 2011, James met Andrea at a Fine Art Festival where they both had booths. The chemistry and respect between them sparked instantly and since then they have joined forces to establish a more well-rounded and collectible collection of original art glass gifts, fine art glass sculptures, and exceptional art glass jewelry. Earlier this year (2013) they joined forces as husband and wife.
