Sea Stones
Windham, NH
Bringing natural materials indoors as functional art keeps all of us in harmony with Mother Earth.
We are based in Windham, New Hampshire, close to the rocky New England beaches and rivers that shape the stones we use in our designs. Stemware is made from recycled glass.
We gather from private rivers and beaches, with permission. When we collect a stone, we want to make sure there will always be a replacement for future gatherers. So for each stone we harvest, we ‘plant’ a new stone (purchased from a quarry) in the water. Over the years, the water tumbles the rough ‘seed’ into a smooth, rounded stone.
