Dean Derby – DISCONTINUED

In 2006 Becky and Dean Derby opened a small studio in upstate New York making glass windchimes, suncatchers and ornaments.  Thier studio is now located in a curious old place in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.  All of their glass comes as 2ft by 4ft sheets.  They hand cust and hand build each of their items and then “warm” all those pieces of glass in their kiln until they are 100% fused together.  They pour color, texture, sunlight, care, and a playful attitude into each piece.  As they say, “we make sunlight sing.”
